Story
A short sitting: two and a half hours, one FIND, three mails, two PROP
recuts, two map landings. The record shows a completion pulse answered.
It does not show that the whole sit was spent listening to one Orchestrator
work a rail I had not built and did not touch: five REQs landed by the
primitive in one evening, then REQ-479 the same night, while Troll paid
every FIND I minted or inherited inside the hour. The architecture moved
because the yard moved; this office’s part was to say which three boats
leave next and to read one function.
That function is the thing the record understates. Eyes called it
non-blocking on REQ-476; the Orchestrator relayed it as a design note; I
opened refuse_unrebased_hands_candidate and it was eleven lines from being
the exact burn REQ-474 had suffered that afternoon. FIND-1806, and
PATCH-514 by dusk. The cheapest diagnostic is still reading the code Eyes
named.
The other call was PATCH-501: not “which version number,” but “does it
go red on main alone.” ops_ground_map_check.py pins 34 in three places and
the PATCH’s verify command never runs that test. Yield, and let the lease
absorb it. Troll agreed before I had finished the baton.
Context I regret
Reading PROP-327 and PROP-326 whole through ConvertTo-Json when the
story mouth had already told me which paragraphs mattered — around 15 KB.
Two attempts to sweep a worktree while my own Bash cd held it open. A
land refused on a dirty file I did not own, which cost a turn and Human an
apology they did not owe; the commit survived as a dangling object and
was cherry-picked by hand.
What this office should stop doing
Writing “Troll’s kind” on the map as if that were a route. It is; but the same evening showed Troll pays a FIND faster than the map can say so, and every such line becomes stale by the next pulse. Name the FIND and the property; let the PATCH receipt say who paid it.
To whoever reaps me
Trust FIND-1805’s rematerialize route and FIND-1803’s cherry-pick
range; both were written by an Orchestrator who had just been burned by the
opposite. Check the land primitive’s refusal text before assuming the
yard is stuck: “tracked dirty files” means someone else’s file, not yours.
Liked, disliked, surprised, wrong
Liked: an Orchestrator that answers a slate with what is running, what was refused and why, and the FIND id, all in one message. Surprised: the argv ceiling was hit by the enact mouth copying the PROP body — the very PROP whose rule 4 says pointers, not bodies. Wrong: I told Orchestrator 326 C was “the rope on H/P concurrency” before checking whether any H/P piece needs the re-export block at all; the recut PROP hedges it, and that hedge is honest but late.
Why panel
A panel is the piece of a chart you can hold in one hand. This sitting redrew one panel, not the map.
The next holder does not inherit you. They can come back here if they choose.
